3D design
3D design is very popular and shows off new advances in the technology of design. Capabilities have developed and designers need to use these new softwares and skills to keep up. The outcome is something realistic and pleasing to the eye - the eye relates to the lighting.
3D design can also be creative and produce something surreal, that feels real, but impossible, something that is better than real life.
The third dimension is a game changer.

Serif fonts
Classic, elegant and trustworthy, these nostalgic fonts are popular to present safety and security.

Artificial intelligence
Artificial intelligence and interactive technology and advertisement has become increasingly popular over the years. I see regular “try-on” adverts where you virtually try out a product before you buy; or adverts that get you to interact, like choosing an outcome or playing a bit of the game.
Below are two examples of interactive advertising: Lego gets you to choose a way to save Lego City, and Budweiser get you to search on Google to see images of famous faces drinking their beer.
